Job Description- Ensure availability of spare parts across all Regional Warehouses to provide timely support to operating units.- Maintain minimum stock levels for functional parts and raise monthly purchase orders with suppliers.- Consolidate quarterly requirements of non-functional parts from units, analyze consumption trends against the previous year, and place purchase orders accordingly.- Identify, evaluate, and onboard alternative/additional vendors to strengthen the supply base and ensure continuity.- Implement and validate pricing in line with raw material cost fluctuations, ensuring cost competitiveness.- Conduct sample trials for new or modified parts and prepare reports for management approval prior to procurement.- Undertake supplier visits for process audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.- Coordinate with international operations to ensure timely availability of spare parts across borders.- Negotiate with suppliers for favourable terms related to pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.- Monitor supplier performance through key metrics (quality, delivery reliability, compliance) and initiate corrective actions where necessary.- Drive initiatives for cost reduction, standardization, and localization of spare parts without compromising quality.- Maintain accurate purchase records, agreements, and supplier databases to support audit and compliance requirements.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (service, operations, finance, warehouse teams) to align procurement with business needs.- Support digitalization/automation of purchase and inventory processes for better efficiency and tracking.- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Senior Management from time to time, which shall be executed diligently and within the stipulated timelines.- Responsible for completing the LinkedIn course on Vendor Negotiation and applying the learnings to further strengthen our negotiation capabilities.
