Stone Procurement Controller

  1. Procurement & Sourcing:

  2. Support to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers with requisite approvals

  3. Place orders for stones whilst ensuring high governance standards around multiple vendor evaluations etc

  4. Inventory Management:

  5. Maintain optimal stock levels of stone inventory in alignment with Merchandising team.

  6. Track inventory and manage aged stone inventory along with ownership to bring down aged stone inventory along with Head Stone Procurement

  7. Develop and implement inventory control systems to manage stone materials efficiently.

  8. Cost Control:

  9. Monitor and control procurement budgets, ensuring purchases stay within approved production / business plans.

  10. Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest ways to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.

  11. Documentation, MIS & audits:

  12. Prepare vendor wise procurement reports, including material costs, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

  13. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and transactions along with multiple vendor quotations.

  14. Facilitate and complete periodic internal / external audit of stone procurement

  15. Collaboration & Communication:

  16. Collaborate with suppliers, merchandising, finance, commercial and other stakeholders
