Job Description: Junior Java Developer

Job Location : Trivandrum, Kerala, India

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated
Junior Java Developer
to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java programming, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in learning enterprise software development practices. You will work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and QA teams to design, develop, test, and maintain applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development, security, and performance optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of REST APIs, web applications, or backend services.
  • Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and frameworks in Java development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education
    : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience
    : 0-1years (Freshers
    with CGPA of 6.5 and above

  • Technical Skills
    :
  • Proficiency in
    Java SE/Java EE
    .
  • Understanding of
    OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
    concepts.
  • Basic understanding of
    SQL
    and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Exposure to frameworks like
    Spring/Spring Boot
    , Hibernate/JPA (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Understanding of unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).

Selection Process
