Job Summary :We are seeking experienced Oracle DB Performance Tuning and PLSQL Optimization to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for optimizing and rewriting PLSQL code to enhance database performance and efficiency. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle database performance tuning, PLSQL optimization, Partitioning, and a solid understanding of database management. Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct performance tuning for Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze current database configurations and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.
  • Review and rewrite PLSQL code to optimize performance.
  • Implement best practices for PLSQL coding and optimization.
  • Debug and troubleshoot PLSQL scripts and resolve performance issues.
  • Implement and manage partitioning strategies to enhance database performance and manageability.
  • Monitor and optimize partitioned tables and indexes.
  • Profile queries to identify performance issues.
  • Optimize SQL queries to improve execution times.
  • Document all changes and optimizations made to the databases.
  • Prepare reports on performance improvements and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle DB performance tuning and PLSQL optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and internals.
  • Proficiency in PLSQL and SQL programming.
  • Experience with database indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment )
