Job Purpose

The role is responsible for driving strategic growth and engagement across the retail deposit book, customer lifecycle management. This includes enhancing the bank's retail deposit portfolio, optimizing platform usage, and developing innovative product strategies for corporate salary accounts. The incumbent will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, ensure governance and compliance, and drive customer engagement through digital innovations and data-driven decision-making

Key Accountabilities

  • Retail Deposit & Portfolio Growth\: Achieve growth targets for the retail deposit book, ensuring an optimal balance between Current Account (CA), Savings Accounts (SA) and Term Deposits (TD).
  • Ensure Relationship managers are enabled & they have right to win
  • Customer Lifecycle & Engagement\: Enhance customer engagement by driving platform adoption, increasing product activation, and optimizing lifecycle management.
  • Develop and track KPI's to monitor the effectiveness of programs, and revise strategies as needed\:
  • Conduct regular sales analysis and forecasting to anticipate changes and ensure adequate resources are in place

Requirements

  1. Retail Deposit Book Growth & Portfolio Management
  • Achieve targets for increasing the retail deposit book through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure Incentive partcipation
  • Work closely with National Distribution, Deposit Products, and Marketing teams to drive growth.
  • Oversee data analysis and implement optimization strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
  1. Customer Lifecycle Management & Digital Innovation
  • Drive increased usage of banking platforms, improving customer engagement and transaction volumes.
  • Develop customer engagement programs such as financial wellness initiatives and rewards programs.
  1. Process Optimization, Risk & Governance Compliance
  • Implement governance frameworks to manage risk, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Establish control towers (Portfolio & MtJ Control Tower) to optimize portfolio management.

Require Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in consumer banking, retail deposits, Channel Management
  • Strong track record in customer lifecycle management, digital transformation, and stakeholder engagement.

Education

MBA from a Tier-I institute or CA with relevant experience.
