Job Summary
- The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for the accurate accounting and timely financial reporting of the organization.
- The role includes finalization of accounts, preparation of MIS and regulatory reports, tax compliance, audit coordination, and supporting treasury and financial planning activities.
- The candidate will ensure strict adherence to statutory guidelines including RBI and Companies Act regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations and ensure timely finalization of accounts as per statutory requirements.
- Prepare, analyze, and review Management Information System (MIS) reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings, including compliance with RBI and NBFC guidelines.
- Oversee and coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, tax, and concurrent audits.
- Handle direct and indirect taxation including GST, TDS, income tax filings, and reconciliation of tax accounts.
- Monitor cash flow, fund utilization, and implement effective treasury and cost control measures.
- Support the CFO/Finance Head in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and other applicable statutory frmeworks.
- Review and enhance internal controls, risk management frameworks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in managing audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance in the banking/finance sector is preferred.
