Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented
SIT Product Tester
with 3–6 years of experience in
corporate loan products
within the Indian banking or fintech ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a solid functional understanding of loan workflows and hands-on expertise in
System Integration Testing (SIT)
with skills in
API validation
. You will be responsible for ensuring that the product functions as intended across integrated systems, with accurate data flow, compliance with lending norms, and smooth interactions between modules and third-party services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform
    System Integration Testing (SIT)
    for corporate loan modules, validating interactions across systems like LOS (Loan Origination System), LMS (Loan Management System), CBS (Core Banking System), and external APIs (credit bureau, KYC, etc.).
  • Review business and functional requirements (BRDs/FRDs) to develop
    comprehensive SIT test cases and test scenarios
    covering end-to-end business flows.
  • Conduct thorough
    functional testing
    of loan workflows including origination, underwriting, sanction, disbursement, repayment, and closure.
  • Execute
    API testing
    using tools such as
    Postman
    , validating request/response, headers, status codes, data integrity, and error handling.
  • Validate data consistency and correctness across
    upstream and downstream systems
    , including UI and touchbase middleware, and backend/database layers.
  • Identify integration issues, raise detailed
    defect reports
    with clear reproduction steps, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
  • Participate in
    interface validation
    with third-party systems such as credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian), CKYC, GSTN, and PAN services etc.
  • Ensure compliance with
    RBI guidelines
    and internal credit policy rules in all tested functionalities.
  • Document and maintain
    test artifacts
    such as test cases, results, defect logs, and traceability matrices.
  • Support
    test data preparation
    , including configuration of corporate loan products and account scenarios.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and developers to clarify requirements and align on expected outcomes.
  • Participate in
    daily stand-ups, defect triage meetings
    , and provide SIT status updates proactively.
