Job Description:

Manage & Streamline India compliance team for GCC (All 4 Countries of Gulf Council)

 · Ensure Monthly & Quarterly VAT & other Tax compliance with local tax legislation for Middle East (GCC), including timely filing of Withholding Tax and VAT Returns. Maintain compliance trackers and develop review programs.

· Monthly/Quarterly transaction level review of all Expense, Purchases & Income, Vendor & Customer level analysis, Tax Code review and compute final VAT and prepare VAT Return in time

· Tax Accounting and Reporting: Monthly posting of Final VAT & WHT settlement entries and other VAT and WHT adjustment entries in books in UAE and provide settlement entries to respective GL Team for other regions to ensure monthly reconciliation with Return Filed.

· Review of the Revenue and Tax GL Monthly and periodic YTD Analysis post filing of the periodic return duly prepared by the team and email and discuss with the respective regional stake holders.

· Ensure Net VAT Payable/Refund as per the books should match with the Net VAT Payable/Refund as per the Return filed.

· Tax Advisory and Transaction Support: Advise to Regional team on tax implications of business transactions (AP, AR & GL level) and propose solutions to minimize tax costs, ensure Tax code is applied and Tax is posted on all transaction of Income, Expense and Purchase by respective team.
