We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to lead the design, development, and security of high-performance iOS applications within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in secure app development, strong knowledge of API security, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-quality iOS applications aligned with banking requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate secure APIs, ensuring compatibility with backend systems.
  • Ensure compliance with banking security standards, regulatory requirements, and best development practices.
  • Conduct detailed code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
  • Identify, investigate, and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Implement secure data handling including encryption, secure storage, and biometric authentication.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in iOS technologies, mobile security, and banking compliance.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality testing and smooth application releases.
  • Provide technical leadership, evaluate new tools, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as an iOS Developer with strong exposure to banking/financial applications.
  • Expertise in Swift and Objective-C with deep understanding of iOS frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of API security, authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSO) and secure communication.

  • Experience implementing mobile app security best practices:

  • Encryption (AES, RSA)

  • Secure Keychain storage
  • Jailbreak/root detection

  • Biometric Authentication (FaceID / TouchID)

  • Familiarity with Banking domain standards, compliance, and secure coding guidelines.

  • Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code versioning.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead development tasks independently and collaborate in a team environment.
