Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer (Freelancer) to work on mobile application development projects focused on delivering data-driven and AI-assisted user experiences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing timelines, and integrating APIs, analytics, and dashboards into intuitive iOS interfaces.

This is a short-term, milestone-based engagement, with the potential for long-term collaboration based on project success and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  1. App Development & Integration
  2. Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift / SwiftUI.
  3. Integrate APIs and data visualization components (e.g., charts, dashboards, AI assistants).
  4. Optimize app performance and ensure smooth UX/UI for data-heavy screens.

  5. Implement secure user authentication and API access (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

  6. Collaboration & Delivery

  7. Work closely with backend engineers and AI developers for API integration.
  8. Participate in sprint reviews, share weekly progress updates, and manage deliverables independently.

  9. Translate wireframes and product requirements into working mobile features.

  10. Testing & Quality

  11. Perform thorough testing across devices and OS versions.
  12. Debug, identify, and fix performance bottlenecks or UI inconsistencies.
  13. Ensure adherence to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and App Store policies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 36 years of hands-on iOS app development experience.
  • Strong command of Swift / SwiftUI / Xcode.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON data structures, and authentication layers.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with Git, Firebase, AWS Amplify, or Azure Mobile Services is a plus.
  • Exposure to AI/ML model integration (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Flexible to adapt to evolving project needs.
