Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to company and kitchen standards.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a specific section of the kitchen.
  • Ensure mise-en-place is prepared and ready before service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section at all times.
  • Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are strictly followed (HACCP).
  • Assist in the monitoring of portion and waste control.
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Participate in stock control and inventory as directed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and ensure compliance at all times.
  • Train and mentor Commis Chefs and junior staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
