Role objective:
Brand Manager – Food Service is responsible for planning and executing all marketing related activities aligning to its overall branding strategy. The role will also act as a custodian of the brand and its marketing responsibility across Indian and International markets
Role responsibilities:
Design brand strategy and execution:
- Support VP – Marketing to develop and execute Food Service's branding strategy aligned to the larger marketing strategy and marketing calendar.
- Leverage market intelligence on customer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify potential market opportunities to further increase Food Service's market share.
- Translate potential market opportunities into fully-integrated branding activities across Content, Digital Marketing and PR and Events team.
- Create detailed branding calendar with key milestones, accountabilities, areas of collaboration and approval flows across branding team members.
- Re-align branding strategy through insights leveraged about consumer insights (brand recognition, awareness, recall etc.) collected by MI team on an on-going basis.
- Monitor all branding activities to ensure that they are being conducted as per the branding calendar- Support and guide teams wherever necessary.
Sales Training on NPDs and Annual promotion plans:
- Collaborate with HR for creation of all training materials and ensure training around branding strategy (brand guidelines etc.) for all employees across locations to drive consistency of brand image across clients and geographies.
- Ensure that all brand guidelines, policies, templates and relevant documentation are submitted/updated on the central knowledge management system.
Annual Budgets, Cost-saving initiatives and ROI mapping
- Cascade budgets to Content and collateral development team, Digital and social media team and PR and Events team.
- Ensure budget adherence for branding activities through close monitoring of expenditure.
- Oversee management of external vendors (from sourcing, fee negotiation and signing of contractual agreement etc.) is done within PR and Events budget.
- Oversee that expenditure of Content and Collateral development team (softwares for creation of audio and video content, printing costs etc.) is within Content team budgets.
- Oversee that digital marketing expenditure (purchase of digital advertising space, user analytics softwares etc.) is within Digital Marketing budget.
Boost online presence and digital medium penetration
- Oversee and manage digital presence across all digital channels (website, social media accounts, online media publications etc.)
- Ensure consistent increase in the number of followers and subscribers across social media through timely updation of all channels with fresh content
- Ensure swift resolution of any queries received on digital platforms
Ensure high quality content and collateral creation
- Ensure high click through rates for content posted by designing engaging and relevant content to interest existing and potential customers
- Ensure support in creation of attractive product catalogues for the sales team for their pitch meetings to ensure high lead conversion ratio.
- Ensure that all updated collaterals are available with all concerned departments for distribution and use.
