Thermal Weapon Sights, Electronic Fuzes, High-Capacity Radio Relay and Surveillance Radars.

The Company has state-of-the-art Optical Fiber and Optical Fiber Cable manufacturing plants at Hyderabad, Optical Fiber Cable manufacturing plant in Goa and in its subsidiary HTL Limited at Chennai. The Company's recently set-up plant in Manesar is focused on telecom equipment production, with products that qualify under the Government of India's Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme.

Position Overview

HFCL is on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Brand Marketing Lead to join the team and catapult the brand presence to greater heights. The successful candidate will develop and

execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies to enhance HFCL's market position, drive brand awareness, and support business growth across telecom, defense, and railway verticals. The ideal brand champion will bring a strong background in B2B marketing within the technology or telecommunications industry and a passion for turning complex tech into compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Management

  • The Brand Marketing Lead will craft and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with HFCL's business objectives and vision - think of it as being the brand's GPS, navigating through competitive terrain
  • Developing customer personas and journey maps across global markets for business units. Craft multiple touch point mapped to customer's stage in the funnel
  • Translating voice-of-customer data into brand narratives, and running targeted campaigns
  • Implementing feedback loops to refine brand positioning and creating differentiation strategies through competitive analysis
  • Integrating account-based marketing with broader brand strategies

Marketing Communications

  • Collaboration with the digital marketing team will ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms, creating a seamless experience that feels like the marketing equivalent of a perfectly choreographed dance
  • The successful candidate will develop messaging frameworks that translate complex tech-speak into stories that resonate with different stakeholder groups
  • Integrated marketing campaigns will be planned and executed with the precision of a Swiss watch and the creativity of an artist on deadline

Events & Industry Relations

  • Ensure HFCL's presence at key industry events is memorable, not just another logo in the sea of banners
  • Speaking opportunities at relevant conferences and industry forums will be coordinated, making sure HFCL's voice is heard loud and clear at the platforms that matter
  • Relationships with industry analysts, trade publications, and media will be cultivated to secure positive coverage that makes the PR team do happy dances
  • Corporate events, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives will be executed with flair that leaves lasting impressions

Marketing Operations

  • Marketing technology stack will be managed and leveraged to automate processes, increase efficiency, and provide actionable insights
  • The candidate will implement and maintain a marketing resource management system that keeps creative assets organized and accessible
  • Campaign workflows and approval processes will be streamlined to eliminate bottlenecks while maintaining quality standards
  • Marketing data architecture will be designed to ensure proper tracking, attribution, and reporting across all marketing activities
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure marketing platforms integrate seamlessly with CRM and other business systems
  • Collaborate with SCM and Finance to ensure marketing operations are flawless in day to day business

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, turning marketing enthusiasts into brand evangelists
  • Cross-functional collaboration with sales, product management, R&D, and other departments will be facilitated with the diplomatic skills of a seasoned ambassador
  • Relationships with external agencies and marketing vendors will be managed to ensure they deliver work that meets HFCL's high standards (and deadlines)
  • Marketing budgets will be developed and managed with the careful balance of a tightrope walker, ensuring resources go where they'll make the biggest impact

Performance Analysis

  • Regular reports on marketing performance and brand health will be prepared with insights that even the most data-averse executives will appreciate
  • Data-driven insights will be leveraged to refine marketing strategies, because in the Brand Marketing Lead's world, gut feelings are validated with spreadsheets

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8-12 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in brand management
  • Experience in the telecommunications, SaaS, or technology sector strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand strategies that didn't just win awards but moved business needles

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and practices that goes beyond textbook knowledge
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives without dropping a single ball
  • Superior communication and presentation skills that can make even fiber optic specifications sound fascinating
  • Creative thinking balanced with analytical problem-solving abilities – both left and right brain working in harmony
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms that extends beyond just knowing which buttons to click
  • Knowledge of the telecom industry landscape, trends, and competitive dynamics that impresses even the most technical product managers
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence without direct authority, like a marketing Jedi using the force of good ideas
