Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Factory Head to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment, production management, and plant leadership within the packaged drinking water, beverage, or FMCG sector. This senior management role requires technical expertise, operational excellence, and people leadership to ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable production.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Operations

• Oversee all factory operations including production, quality control, logistics, maintenance, and new projects.

Quality & Compliance

• Implement robust quality control systems ensuring the safety and purity of finished products.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, BIS, and other statutory and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee waste and wastewater management to meet environmental and pollution control norms.

Business & Financial Management

• Drive profitability through cost optimization and operational excellence.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Align factory operations with the company's strategic goals and growth plans.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead and motivate cross-functional factory teams to deliver results.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify training needs and ensure skill development of factory staff.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Ensure plant performance and machinery operate at peak efficiency while minimizing downtime.
• Plan and execute new projects, plant upgrades, and commissioning of new lines.
• Maintain optimum production levels to meet market demand within defined budgets.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Civil), Food Science, or Industrial Management.
• Experience: 10–15+ years in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head / Factory Head / Senior Operations role in the water, beverage, or FMCG industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of water treatment chemistry, purification, filtration, bottling, and packaging processes.
• Certifications (Preferred): Water Treatment Operator Certification or equivalent as per local norms.
