Job Description: Sales Associate (India – Remote)

Company Overview

Saffron is a Canada-based healthcare staffing and support services company dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with healthcare organizations. We are expanding our global team and looking for a motivated Sales Associate based in India to support our business development and client relations activities.

Position: Sales Associate (Remote – India)

The Sales Associate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the sales team in Canada. This is a remote position requiring close collaboration across international time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and generate leads for potential clients (healthcare facilities, agencies, organizations).
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the sales pipeline through CRM systems.
  • Support the sales team with proposals, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
  • Work closely with the Canadian operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly targets for lead generation and client engagement.
  • Provide regular reports on market insights, competitor activities, and business opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client support (international sales experience is an asset).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Flexible to work during Canadian business hours (EST/AST/PST).
