As our new Inventory Planner, you would take part in a team that is dealing with daily tasks of running our supply chain business and improving our inventory levels. We are a team of 7 persons located in Denmark, Spain and India, and we are the ones responsible for settling the bar when it comes to inventory levels. As our new Inventory Planner colleague, you will become part of a passionate team committed to develop, implement & improve the future Global Inventory Planning ProcessResponsibilitiesThe right candidate will have hands on experience in a global supply chain function within the forecast and planning area of a distribution networkImproving Inventory turn over (ITO) and Material Availability (OTIF) through Analytical reasoning of the root causes and corrective measuresKeeping track of material consumption patterns, Replenishment lead time and Forecast fluctuation and mitigating the risks in case of deviationsEnsuring lean initiatives & Process improvementsTypically, the day in Vestas' SIOP will be spent on evaluating the safety stock, forecast, mitigating the stock out risks, Root cause analysis on the on-time delivery misses, Collaboration with various global stakeholders etc.,Solid experience in inventory planning in a global distribution networkHands on experience in applying supply chain principles and methods including reportingQualificationsGraduate/post graduate in any stream having experience in Demand and Supply planning and Balancing5+ years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and spare parts /service environmentExpertise in SAP ERP 5.7 or above is preferred. Minimum 5 years' experienceExpert command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essentialProficient in standard data analytical tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL (Marco's level preferred)Experience from the wind power business or similar service business is not a prerequisite, but an advantageSolid team-oriented skills across cultures and disciplines Proficient verbal and written communication skills in EnglishCompetenciesGood knowledge in SAP (MM, SD module specifically), MS ExcelAbility to understand the Master data parameters and its implications on the planning sideMethodical approach towards problem solving (8D, Fishbone etc) and Working knowledge in SQL/R/PythonAbility to understand the complex supply chain network and its intricaciesGood verbal and written communication skills in English, stakeholder management skillsWorking style is well structured and committed with good system and business understandingNot restricting himself/herself within the Roles & Responsibilities boundaries and willingness to reach out for getting things doneShould have interest or experience in handling data to extract business insightsWhat We offerWe offer a very exciting job in an aspirational, multi-cultural, and progressive department focusing on building a world class supply chain in seamless collaboration with all stakeholders.
