We are responsible for the global inventory and availability of all spare parts for the maintenance of installed turbines. Being part of an international team, responsible for the planning and collaboration with external suppliers to ensure a high delivery performance and availability. Moreover, you will also be contributing to the transformation strategy and development of our Supply Chain.ResponsibilitiesThe right candidate will have hands on experience in a global supply chain function within the forecast and planning area of a distribution networkImproving Inventory turn over (ITO) and Material Availability (OTIF) through Analytical reasoning of the root causes and corrective measuresKeeping track of material consumption patterns, Replenishment lead time and Forecast fluctuation and mitigating the risks in case of deviationsEnsuring lean initiatives & Process improvementsTypically, the day will be spent on evaluating the safety stock, forecast, mitigating the stock out risks, Root cause analysis on the on-time delivery misses, Collaboration with various global stakeholders etc.,Solid experience in supply planning in a global distribution networkHands on experience in applying supply chain principles and methods including reportingEngaging with Procurement function and Operational buying team to represent Vestas with one single voice in front of the suppliers.Develop, together with your new team, the strategy to ensure highest possible On-time-delivery from our supplier base.QualificationsGraduate/post graduate in any stream having experience in Demand -supply planning and Balancing3 - 5 years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and spare parts /service environmentSupply chain certifications ( eg: APICS-CPIM , CSCP )CompetenciesGood knowledge in SAP (MM, SD module specifically), MS ExcelAbility to understand the Master data parameters and its implications on the planning sideMethodical approach towards problem solving (8D, Fishbone etc) and Working knowledge in SQL/R/PythonAbility to understand the complex supply chain network and its intricaciesGood verbal and written communication skills in English, stakeholder management skillsWorking style is well structured and committed with Good system and business understandingNot restricting himself/herself within the Roles & Responsibilities boundaries and willingness to reach out for getting things doneShould have interest or experience in handling data to extract business insightsWhat We OfferWe offer an exciting job with great opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring and diverse work environment within the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
