Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Firmware Engineer at GIC's Pune facility. In this role, the Senior Firmware Engineer will develop, debug, and optimize embedded software for various industrial products. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing and implementing firmware solutions, testing and debugging software, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Embedded Software Development and Software Development
  • Proficiency in Debugging and working with Microcontroller peripherals
  • Background and expertise in Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in firmware design for industrial automation or similar environments
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related field
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards EMI/EMC and protocols is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
