Automation Engineer

Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in developing, testing, and implementing automation solutions within a greenfield environment.

The role involves close collaboration with the Automation Solution Architect and may require occasional travel to Salzburg, Austria.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in scripting, DevOps practices, and automation tooling, and a passion for creating scalable, efficient, and maintainable automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and implement automation solutions based on architectural specifications.

- Collaborate closely with the Automation Solution Architect to ensure alignment with technical requirements and design standards.

- Build automation solutions from the ground up in a greenfield environment.

- Ensure high-quality, maintainable code and workflows through rigorous testing, validation, and code reviews.

- Maintain detailed documentation for developed solutions and workflows.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest optimizations.

- Provide support during deployment and post-implementation phases.

- Travel to Salzburg, Austria as needed for project coordination and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

years of hands-on experience in automation and DevOps roles.

- Strong expertise in :

- Ansible : Advanced playbook development, workflow design, and visualization.

- Python scripting for automation, orchestration, and integration tasks.

- REST API integration and development.

- DevOps tools and practices : CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure-as-code.

- Experience in agile, collaborative environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in DevOps, Ansible, or related automation technologies.

- Experience working in international or cross-cultural teams.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

Travel Requirement :

- Occasional travel to Salzburg, Austria may be required for project-related activities
