Key Responsibilities


•    Selenium automation testing roles and responsibilities: - Strong knowledge and understanding of the Application Under Test in terms of Object Identification - 

•    Strong knowledge of core java with appropriate coding logic.

•    Knowledge of JMeter performance testing will be added advantage.

•    Experience with Database queries.

•    Primary Knowledge of Batch commands. 

•    Creating Test scenarios and Collecting Test Data.

•    Knowledge of Jira, Smartsheet & MS Excel.

•    Preliminary knowledge of 'Continuous integration' tool (e.g. Jenkins)

•    Identifying end-to-end scenarios and code modularity.

•    Implementing TestNG Test Automation framework and developing automation framework.

•    Develop reusable components/ functionalities - selenium tester roles and responsibilities 

•    Creating and enhancing Test Cases / Test Scripts using Element locators, Java programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations.

•    Error Handling, Adding comments with proper Asserts.

•    Creating Data-driven Tests and Running through the framework.

•    Cross Browser Testing, Parallel Test Execution.

•    Defining and exporting Test Results.

•    Analysing Test Results and Reporting Defects to the Developers.

•    Tracking Defects / Bugs and Select Test cases for Regression Testing.

•    Modifying Test Automation Resources and Maintenance of Resources.

 

Competencies and skills


•    Bsc/Msc (Computer Science), BE(Computer).

•    Minimum 3+ years exp in Automation Testing.
