SDET – Automation QA Engineer

Initial 15Days onsite in Mumbai for Training purpose, then remote

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with test automation frameworks, coding skills, and a solid understanding of QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web applications.
  • Define test strategies and ensure adequate coverage across functionalities.
  • Write and execute automated API, UI, and integration tests.
  • Perform regression testing to validate software releases.
  • Analyze test results, debug failures, and log/report defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

Must-Have Skills :

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer.
  • Solid experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, etc.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.

Good-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Jest).
  • Understanding of e-commerce workflows and domain knowledge.
