Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Manual QA Engineer
with a strong background in the
Trading and FinTech domain
. The ideal candidate will have 3.5–6 years of experience in testing
mobile applications (iOS & Android)
and
web applications
, ensuring high-quality product delivery through thorough test planning, execution, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform
    functional, regression, integration, and system testing
    .
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of
    trading and fintech applications
    with a strong focus on
    performance, accuracy, and security
    .
  • Document, track, and manage defects using standard defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Provide detailed and concise
    test reports
    and maintain proper test documentation.
  • Participate in
    requirement reviews
    and contribute to improving QA processes.

Required Skills

  • 3.5–6 years of
    hands-on experience
    in manual testing.
  • Strong
    domain knowledge
    in Trading and FinTech applications.
  • Expertise in testing
    mobile apps (iOS & Android)
    and
    web-based platforms
    .
  • Proficiency in
    creating/executing test cases, bug reporting, and defect tracking
    .
  • Familiarity with
    JIRA or similar project/test management tools
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    SDLC & STLC processes
    .
  • Excellent
    analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of
    basic automation
    concepts will be an added advantage.
  • Experience working in an
    Agile/Scrum
    environment.
  • Exposure to
    API testing
    using tools like
    Postman
    .
