Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Accountant will manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, reconciliation, invoicing, and financial reporting. Responsibilities also include reviewing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, preparing tax filings, and contributing to financial audits. The role demands the ability to collaborate with internal teams, verify data accuracy, and ensure smooth financial management in alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ledger maintenance
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for budgeting, reconciliation, and data analysis
  • Experience with tax preparation, regulatory compliance, and audit processes
  • Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are a plus
  • Prior experience in the jewelry or manufacturing industry is advantageous
