About The Opportunity
A growing organisation in the Information Technology & Services sector delivering software and IT-enabled services to domestic and international clients. We are hiring an on-site Accountant in India to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, and month-end reporting to support rapid business growth and audit-readiness.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting: post journals, manage general ledger, and execute month-end close activities to deliver timely financials.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows — vendor invoicing, payment processing, collections and aging follow-up.
  • Ensure statutory compliance for GST, TDS and other Indian tax requirements; prepare schedules and coordinate tax filings with external advisors.
  • Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash position, and prepare cash-flow reports to support treasury decisions.
  • Support external and internal audits, improve internal controls and drive process automation in the accounting cycle.

Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications (summary):
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent preferred; candidates with professional accounting credentials or relevant on-site accounting experience in India will be prioritised.
