Job Description: The Capital Sourcing Specialist oversees procurement for Glass Reinforcement projects, ensuring selection of goods and services based on price, quality, delivery, and support.

This role involves executing strategies to meet business goals while adhering to sourcing policies. Responsibilities include communicating with internal customers, qualifying suppliers, negotiating prices, terms, and delivery to achieve cost savings and meet project timelines. The Capital Sourcing Specialist reports to the GR Global Capital Sourcing Leader.

Procurement ProcessesSupport Capital Sourcing activities across all facilities belonging to Glass Reinforcement business

Evaluate vendors and contractors using standard processes

Perform bids evaluation, negotiate best terms and make recommendations

Issue and manage Contracts, Agreements, Security, NDA and Purchase OrdersAct as a liaison between the internal customer and the supplier of the equipment of goods and/or contractors for construction and installation services.Adheres to all Company and Global Sourcing policies.Supplier Development ImprovementBuild and maintain relationships with existing suppliers (vendors of equipment and materials, contractors for construction and installations)Identify and qualify potential new suppliers

Create and/or maintain a database solution to capture all supplier data and evaluation

Knowledge and Abilities:Able to conduct supplier negotiations effectively for a positive outcome

Demonstrated planning, problem solving, & decision making to maximize financial and operational performance. Effective communication skills with internal customers and suppliers

Personal Characteristics: Conducts himself/herself with the highest ethical and moral standards

Organized and ability to prioritize work to meet project schedule

Hands-on approach with the ability to work with plant personnel and engineering teams

Capability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast paced environment
