The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service to ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate will be courteous, efficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and escort customers to their tables.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering system.
  • Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and in a friendly manner.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any issues.
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
  • Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints and inform the manager on duty if necessary.
  • Work with other staff as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; food safety training is a plus.
