Software Test Engineer

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing both.
  • Certification in Software Testing from a recognized institute
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong requirement analysis and documentation skills
  • Ability to independently understand project goals and align testing accordingly

Key Skills Required:

  • Defect reporting and tracking
  • Test case creation and execution
  • Test specification development
  • Automation testing (Web & Hybrid applications)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing life cycle
  • Tools: Bugzilla, JIRA
  • Debugging and diagnostic tools
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, execute, and maintain detailed
    test cases
    based on project requirements
  • Report, track, and verify defects
    using tools like
    Bugzilla
    and
    JIRA
  • Develop and execute
    test specifications
    for web and hybrid applications
  • Design and maintain a
    suite of automated tests
  • Analyze software requirements to create
    effective and creative test solutions
  • Work closely with the development team to
    debug
    issues and improve quality
  • Collaborate in
    project requirement gathering
    and prepare
    requirement specification documents
  • Ensure complete test coverage and report test progress with clarity
