We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator with strong L3 support capabilities to manage and support our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Office 365, Intune, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Servers, and endpoint management solutions. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system security, optimizing performance, and the adoption of new Microsoft technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 technical support across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and client systems.
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Office 365 services: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams/Channels, OneDrive, OneNote, Viva Engage, and Stream.
  • Manage user identities and access using Azure AD / Entra ID, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC.
  • Administer device management using Microsoft Intune and/or ManageEngine Endpoint Central Cloud.
  • Oversee email security, including DLP policies, sensitivity labels, compliance rules, and message hygiene.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and implement patch management for servers, endpoints, and Office 365 workloads.
  • Implement and manage monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Sentinel) to ensure infrastructure visibility and proactive issue resolution.
  • Automate and manage software deployments and OS rollouts across hybrid environments.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and core network services.
  • Maintain and support virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and data backup solutions.
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, VPNs, and remote access.
  • Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and administrative tasks.
  • Regularly research and evaluate new Microsoft 365 features, security enhancements, and tools; plan and implement relevant updates.
  • Maintain system security by applying SSL certificates, antivirus policies, and best practices.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate on IT projects and system upgrades with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator
  • Azure Certification preferred
  • ITIL v3 certification/experience preferred.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Must have)

Education & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, networking, or any other related field.
  • 8-10 years of working Experience in Office 365 Administration.

Job Duties:

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and related technologies.
  • Handle daily technical support activities including desktop support and server management tasks.
  • Serve as L2/L3 escalation point for helpdesk tickets and desktop-related issues.
  • Proactively manage and maintain Windows Servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including risk assessments and contingency planning.
  • Design and deploy monitoring, configuration management, and reporting systems for proactive infrastructure management.
  • Perform user provisioning, license management, and identity administration using Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Define, document, and enforce best practices and support procedures for consistent operations.
  • Provide after-hours support for infrastructure emergencies and participate in scheduled weekend maintenance activities when required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and asset configuration documentation.
  • Manage system patching, backup and recovery processes, and routine system health checks.
  • Coordinate with vendors, Microsoft support, and third-party providers for complex issue resolution.
  • Interact with customers, end users, and technical staff to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
  • Execute special tasks or projects as directed by management.
  • Lead or support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Research and test new features and updates released by Microsoft for potential implementation.
  • Train and mentor junior IT staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, change control processes, and compliance reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
