- Sales & Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately, handle payments, and work towards achieving sales targets.
- Showroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor, including product displays.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, providing after-sales support and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control and ensure accurate product information is available to customers.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous retail or furniture sales experience is often desired, along with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills are crucial for engaging with customers and closing sales.
- Product & Industry Knowledge: Staying updated on furniture trends, products, and store offerings is vital.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer and math skills are necessary for sales transactions.
- Work Ethic: The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is often required.
