Role description:

At Arcadis IBI, we are seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The role is ideal for recent graduates with strong academic knowledge in statistics, mathematics, or data science, and a keen interest in working with data to generate insights. As a Data Analyst, you will be trained to handle data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization, and will work closely with senior team members to support data-driven decision-making.

Role accountabilities:

1. Data Collection & Cleaning

• · Assist in gathering data from databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs.
• · Learn to clean and preprocess data to ensure quality and accuracy.

2. Database Management

• · Support querying and managing databases using SQL.
• · Gain exposure to database management systems under guidance.

3. Data Analysis

• · Apply statistical methods to analyze datasets and identify patterns.
• · Support senior analysts in performing exploratory and descriptive analysis.

4. Data Visualization & Reporting

• · Create basic dashboards, charts, and reports to communicate findings.
• · Use visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries (Matplotlib/Seaborn).

5. Documentation & Learning

• · Document processes and findings in a clear, structured manner.
• · Continuously learn and adopt new tools, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ IT/ ECE (or related quantitative field such as Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics).
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Exposure to visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based libraries).
• Good problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members.
