Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Finance Assistant to support our finance department with day-to-day tasks. This entry-level role involves basic accounting duties, data entry, invoice processing, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, organized, and capable of handling repetitive tasks accurately.

Key Responsibilities:


• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy of data entry.


• Assist in processing vendor invoices and employee expense claims.


• Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and documentation.


• Help with bank reconciliations and petty cash handling.


• Organize and file financial documents (physical and digital).


• Assist the finance team in preparing monthly reports (data compilation only).


• Respond to routine finance-related queries from staff and suppliers.


• Perform basic administrative tasks related to finance (e.g., printing, scanning, mailing).

Requirements:


• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certificate in accounting/finance is a plus.


• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role (internship or clerical finance work).


• Basic understanding of accounting principles.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.


• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.


• Good organizational and time management skills.


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company procedures.
