Role

As a Team Manager - Steel Phase you will be a part of Machine Shop Department from the Plant Operations function and will be reporting to Section Head - Machine Shop (Steel Phase)

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1. Building Flexible Manufacturing with customer Delight

2. Improving profitability through Strengthening of Policy Deployment & DWM Activities

3. Improving Operational Efficiency by accelerating TPM Activities & Building Joyful Work Place

4. Building of Talent Pool

5. Building Innovation Culture to promote improvements on LEAP methodology in Plant

6. To achieve IMS and EnMS objectives through adherence of systems and procedures for resource conservation in Section

A Day in the life

1. Adherence to Shift production plan
2. Machine Shop Straight Pass targets
3. Adherence to Safety Meetings Target
4. Adherence to JH Pillar KPI's & KAI's Target
5. Safety surveillances audits and ensure the closer of it's observation
6. Department wise NLTA Target
7. Team member Multi Skilling
8. Kaizen Implementation on shop floor

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 Years of relevant Work Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6-10 Years of relevant Work Experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. MS Office, SAP & PPT
2. 5S, TPM, SPC & TPS
3. Understanding of organizational context, policies, needs and expectation of all interested parties
4. Knowledge of SAFETY, 5S, TPM, JIT, FMEA, HIRA, IMS, OEE, KAIZEN, POKAYOKE
5. Analytical skill & problem solving methodology
6. CNC Machine programming & other machining knowledge
7. Knowledge of Business plan & profitability

Behavioural Skills

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach
5. Planning and decision making.
