Job Summary:

The Management Trainee (Marketing) will support the business development and client relationship activities of the Mutual Fund distribution division. The role involves learning and assisting in marketing financial products, generating leads, maintaining client relationships, and supporting sales strategies under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
  • Identify and approach prospective clients for mutual fund investments.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Assist in onboarding investors through BSE StAR MF / MFU / AMC platforms.
  • Marketing & Business Development
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, investor awareness programs, and promotional activities.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives (social media, email marketing, WhatsApp promotions).
  • Generate and follow up on leads to achieve monthly business targets.
  • Product Knowledge & Advisory Support
  • Learn and understand mutual fund products, SIPs, and financial planning concepts.
  • Provide product presentations and investment solutions to clients (under supervision).
  • Market Research & Reporting
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare regular MIS reports on sales performance, client feedback, and marketing activities.
  • Team Coordination
  • Coordinate with operations and back-office teams for smooth execution of client transactions.
  • Participate in periodic training and development programs to enhance product and sales skills.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce, Management, Finance, or Marketing (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 0–3 years in Mutual Fund / Financial Services / Banking / Insurance industry.
  • Skills Required:
  • Good communication & presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-handling ability
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and mutual funds
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication tools
