We are hiring an experienced Procurement Contracts Specialist to join our global EPC operations. This role is with a globally recognized EPC multinational specializing in industrial engineering and construction, with core expertise in the oil and gas sector. The role will focus on supporting contract strategy, negotiation, and compliance for large-scale industrial projects across multiple sectors.

Preference for candidates based in or open to relocating to Bangalore.

Role Overview

  • Full-time | Permanent Position
  • Location: Bangalore preferred
  • Sector: EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)
  • Global scope with exposure to large turnkey projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage Procurement Contracting Conditions for projects
  • Support contract drafting, amendments, and standardization based on project requirements
  • Advise internal stakeholders and vendors on contractual matters and deviations
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure contractual alignment across disciplines
  • Contribute to contract process improvements aligned with current market needs
  • Provide guidance to project teams on risk mitigation and contract compliance

Eligibility Criteria

10 to 15 years of experience in Procurement Contract Management within the EPC sector

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Mandatory)

Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (Mandatory)

Strong understanding of contractual back-to-back clauses and project risk mitigation

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Master's degree in Law
  • Exposure to contracts in Power, Oil & Gas, or Energy Transition projects
  • Ability to coordinate with Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Project Administration teams
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with sustainability, insurance, and compliance terms in contracting
