Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced
Mainframe Developer
with hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing mainframe applications and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement mainframe-based applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform code review, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Work on incident management, defect analysis, and resolution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Technologies:

  • Core Skills:
    COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS
  • Optional Skills (Good to Have):
    VSAM, REXX, IMS, Endevor
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Mainframe application development and support.
