What are we looking for?

Team member who has handled a payments profile (Life Insurance domain)

  • Working knowledge of payment gateways
  • Handled end to end payment life cycle (Receipting /refunds)
  • Knows systems (Life /Group Asia), payment systems, Payment middleware platforms
  • Sound understanding of receipting process (automated / offline)
  • Effective communication skills (Written/Verbal), able to communicate efficiently with various teams (Internal / External)
  • Understanding of Insurance channels and new business process

What does the job entail?

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Accounts / Persistency /Branch)
  • Coordination with Support teams (TCS/ LA/PG partners)
  • Daily calls with support teams
  • Weekly / Monthly reviews with Stake holders and vendor partners
  • Daily Monitoring of payment gateway and daily Recon of LA / CMS receipting
  • Regular follow-ups and escalations as required
  • Identify process gaps and suggest solutions / Process enhancements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: 6 to 8 years in Life Insurance (Payments)
  • Handled payment gateways (configurations / setup)
  • Managed vendor teams
  • Knowledge in System design/ payment architecture and programming (Java Script. Angular JS, J servlets, .net)
  • Understand /worked on database queries/Rules engine / SQL / Oracle
  • Detailed understanding of API's /Web server /Database integrations and architecture, JSON,XML, micro services, EDA (Exploratory data analysis), SOA services
  • Data analysis and Business Intelligence
  • Knowledge of Life/Group Asia
