About the Opportunity
A diagnostic imaging clinic operating in the Healthcare – Diagnostic Imaging & Outpatient Radiology sector is hiring an experienced part‑time Radiologist Consultant to provide high-quality on-site reporting and clinician consultation in Chhatarpur, South Delhi. This role is ideal for a skilled radiologist seeking short, focused clinical shifts (2 hours) with immediate impact on patient care in an ambulatory imaging setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide accurate on-site interpretation of imaging studies (CT, MRI, USG, X‑ray) during scheduled 2‑hour consultancy shifts.
- Prepare clear, timely diagnostic reports and communicate critical findings to referring clinicians.
- Operate and liaise with the imaging team to ensure proper image acquisition and protocol optimization for diagnostic quality.
- Perform basic image-guided procedures if required and within credentialed scope.
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and local clinical governance standards while documenting clinical encounters.
- Coordinate with PACS/RIS support and participate in quality assurance activities and peer review when requested.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
- MD / DNB / DMRD in Radiology (or equivalent) with valid Indian medical registration and licence to practice.
- Demonstrable competency in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X‑ray interpretation.
- Familiarity with PACS and teleradiology reporting workflows.
- Proven ability to deliver concise, timely diagnostic reports in a high-throughput outpatient environment.
- Availability and willingness to work on-site in Chhatarpur (South Delhi) for short, scheduled 2‑hour shifts.
- Compliance with local radiation safety and clinical governance requirements.
Preferred
- Experience with basic interventional radiology procedures.
- Prior experience working in diagnostic centres or outpatient imaging facilities in Delhi/NCR.
- Exposure to quality assurance programs and peer review in radiology practice.
