Primary Title: General Medicine Consultant (MD / DNB)

About the Opportunity
A clinical role within the private healthcare & multi‑specialty hospital sector providing high-quality outpatient and inpatient general medicine services in East Delhi. This on‑site position supports routine OPD clinics, ward rounds and coordinated patient care across diagnostics, pharmacy and allied specialties—delivering evidence-based medicine in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Location & Shift
Nirman Vihar, East Delhi — On-site. Working hours: 09:00 to 17:00.

Compensation
Competitive monthly salary: INR 2.5–3.0 Lakh / month. Freshers with MD/DNB in General Medicine are welcome to apply.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care in OPD and inpatient wards: assess, diagnose, treat and follow-up adult patients.
• Perform daily ward rounds, coordinate investigations, interpret results and implement evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Manage medical emergencies and initial stabilization; escalate to specialists and coordinate referrals when required.
• Maintain accurate medical records, prescriptions and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital protocols and legal standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (radiology, pathology, pharmacy, nursing) to optimise patient outcomes and throughput.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, clinical audits and continuing medical education sessions.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

• MD or DNB in General Medicine (required).
• Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice in India.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning skills for adult medical conditions.
• Comfortable managing OPD clinics, inpatient wards and initial emergency care.
• Excellent communication skills, documentation discipline and team collaboration.

Preferred

• Exposure to hospital-based protocols, clinical audits and EMR systems; freshers with strong internships/rotations encouraged.
• Basic life support (BLS) or ACLS certification and prior ICU/acute care exposure.
