Position Title: Production Supervisor



Level: Junior Staff



Reporting To:  Production Head



Position Purpose

The Position is overall responsible for formulation & packing of agrochemical product.

Strategic Responsibilities
  • System management related to plant maintenance
    1. Maintain ISO systems
    2. Maintain systems, guidelines, procedures and formats as per need
    3. Ensure record keeping and its utilization for improvements.
    4. Operational Excellence
Operational Responsibilities

Operational

  • Maintenance
  1. Preventive maintenance & changeover of packing line equipment's.
  2. Preventive and breakdown maintenance of formulation, packing line.
  3. HSE compliances as per designs.
  • System management related to plant maintenance
    1. Maintain ISO systems
    2. Maintain systems, guidelines, procedures and formats as per need
    3. Ensure record keeping and its utilization for improvements.
    4. Operational Excellence
  • Meeting Statutory and organizational requirements
    1. Legal requirements related to packing.
    2. Customer requirements and guidelines
  • Proper utilization of existing resources & meet the required output.
  • Maintain the product quality & control on losses of RM/PM as per norms
  • Preparation of various reports and analysis 
  • Perform analysis of data and implement action plan evaluated from cause analysis
  • Ensure safe practices in the function and people
Financial Responsibilities
  • Proper utilization of existing resources & meet the required output.

People Responsibilities

To maintain high Morale of the Workforce

Monitor and review performance of contract workers.

Education Qualification

B.Sc/M.Sc/B.Tech Mechanical/Chemical engineering

Work Experience

04 – 07 years

Industry to be Hired from

Chemical processed based industry like Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fine / FMCG etc.

Functional Competencies
  • Ability to take responsibility to run formulation plant independently
  • Knowledge of Manpower Planning
  • Good Technical knowledge of own as well as related fields
  • Knowledge of handling instruments
  • Knowledge of SAP
