We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Video Editor / Graphic Designer who is passionate about visual storytelling and has a deep understanding of aesthetics. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual identity and digital presence of our brand. You will be responsible for transforming our raw photo and video assets into captivating content that resonates with our audience and celebrates the beauty of family and new life.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing:

• Edit and assemble high-quality video footage from maternity, newborn, and family photoshoots into engaging and emotionally resonant short-form and long-form videos.
• Develop a distinctive and consistent video style that aligns with our brand.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, titles, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Create compelling video content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) and our website, optimizing content for each platform's unique requirements.
• Collaborate with the lead photographer to conceptualize and execute video projects, from initial idea to final delivery.

Graphic Design:

• Design visually stunning marketing materials, including but not limited to social media graphics, advertisements, brochures, and website elements.
• Create and maintain a consistent brand identity across all digital and print media, ensuring all visuals are on-brand and aesthetically pleasing.
• Develop eye-catching and effective infographics or promotional materials to showcase our services and packages.
• Retouch and enhance photography images as needed, maintaining our signature artistic and high-quality standard.

General:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, graphic design, and social media content creation, especially within the photography and lifestyle space.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Organize and maintain a digital asset library of video clips, photos, and design files.
• Provide creative input and suggestions during team meetings to continuously improve our visual content strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer, preferably within a photography studio, creative agency, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing and graphic design projects, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sensibility.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and video editing techniques.
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create narratives that connect with a target audience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
