Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Plan and support new product developments, mainly food supplement products (capsules, sticks and tablets), including application tests, both stability and sensory testing, together with application specialists/scientists in the APAC application team.
  • Provide technical support to accelerate growth and defend existing business with key customers.
  • Provide high quality of technical service and solutions to customers and ensure that projects are progressing as planned.
  • Support regulatory affairs by providing scientific documents and dossiers as needed.
  • Organize and execute seminars with customers and KOL events, to effectively communicate relevant science to customers and media.
  • Support marketing by providing technical and Scientifical information in a format that is suitable for marketing presentations initiatives in the sub-region.
  • Following company policy, operation & management rules to conduct day to day work.

What Makes You The Right Fit

  • PhD in Microbiology, Food Science or Food Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in lactic acid bacteria in a Food Ingredient or Pharma company.
  • Extensive experience in food microbiology and in particularly the use for lactic acid bacteria in food.
  • Experience in probiotics and use of probiotics in DS formulations.
  • Good communication skills to effectively drive progress of technical, regulatory and sales related projects, in collaboration with stake holders in the commercial, R&D and regulatory organizations.
  • Ability to work closely with application specialists at other parts of APAC, in planning of TSR's and other application work conducted in South Asia and other parts of APAC as needed.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team, including project managers, sales, regulatory, quality and safety, logistics as well as teams at manufacturing plants.
  • Ability to work independently on projects and experience in project management.
  • Willing to travel within APAC region.
