The Project Manager is accountable for end-to-end coordination of work, with a primary focus on task orchestration, schedule integrity, and delivery predictability. The role ensures that every task has a clear owner, deadline, and definition of done—driving on-time, quality outcomes across cross-functional teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and dependency maps.
- Lead task management: assign, sequence, and track tasks; maintain Kanban/Gantt views; keep backlogs prioritized.
- Monitor timelines and critical paths; anticipate slippage; escalate risks/issues with clear mitigation plans.
- Run cadence rituals (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, weekly status); publish succinct MoMs and action logs.
- Maintain accurate dashboards and reporting on progress, RAID items, and schedule/budget variance.
- Manage scope and change control, ensuring impacts to timelines and resources are evaluated and approved.
- Coordinate capacity planning across internal teams and external vendors; resolve resource conflicts proactively.
- Enforce quality gates and acceptance criteria; support UAT and sign-off processes.
- Drive post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Communication Skills
- Executive-ready updates: Clear, concise written status (RAG, one-pagers) with risks, impacts, and next steps.
- Meeting facilitation: Structured agendas, timeboxing, decision logs, and MoMs with owners and due dates.
- Stakeholder management: Expectation setting, dependency negotiation, and timely escalations with solution options.
- Cross-functional clarity: Translate between technical, creative, and business teams; simplify complex topics.
- Asynchronous discipline: Well-structured updates in tools (e.g., Wrike/Jira/Asana), @mentions, and timezone awareness.
- Requirements writing: Convert goals into clear briefs/user stories, acceptance criteria, and change notes.
- Feedback loops & conflict resolution: Proactive follow-ups, active listening, and diplomatic resolution.
- Documentation hygiene: Consistent naming, version control, and accessible knowledge bases.
- Language proficiency: Strong professional English; additional languages are a plus.
Required Skills :
- Project management tools: Hands-on proficiency with Wrike/Jira/Asana/Trello/MS Project (boards, timelines, Gantt, workload).
- Excel/Google Sheets (advanced): Pivot tables, INDEX-MATCH/VLOOKUP, SUMIF(S)/COUNTIF(S), conditional formatting, data validation, basic dashboarding (bonus: VBA or Apps Script).
- 3–7 years managing multi-stakeholder projects or programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; crisp written status reporting.
- Solid grasp of estimation, scheduling, risk management, and change control.
