Chief Graphic Designer - (All-in-One Creative Role) Platione - Startup Environment

About the Role

We're seeking a versatile and talented Fresher/Intern Graphic Designer to join our startup team as our primary and only creative force. This is a unique opportunity to wear multiple hats and shape the visual identity of our growing company across product design, marketing, branding, and content creation. High growth as you will be founding member of design team and will hire and grow the team under your leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & UI/UX (25-30%)

• Collaborate with our product team to enhance user interface and experience using Figma
• Create and maintain design systems, themes, and reusable component libraries
• Design intuitive user interfaces and interactive prototypes
• Develop visual assets and icons for our digital products
• Bonus: Implement SCSS styling in Angular + Ionic frameworks

Marketing & Campaign Design (25-30%)

• Create compelling marketing collaterals for multi-channel campaigns
• Design graphics for WhatsApp, email, social media, and digital advertising
• Develop promotional materials that drive engagement and conversions
• Leverage AI tools for efficient asset generation and optimization
• Design website elements, landing pages, and conversion-focused graphics

Video Content Creation (20-25%)

• Produce engaging video content for marketing and product demonstrations
• Create animated graphics, motion graphics, and video assets
• Edit and enhance video content for various platforms and audiences
• Develop video templates and branded video frameworks

Brand Identity & Strategy (20-25%)

• Develop and maintain cohesive brand identity across all touchpoints
• Create comprehensive brand guidelines and visual style guides
• Design brand assets including logos, typography systems, and color palettes
• Ensure brand consistency across product, marketing, and corporate communications

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
• Experience with design systems and component-based design
• Familiarity with AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT, etc.)
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS)

Design Expertise:

• 0-3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in startup/tech environments
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across digital and print media
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Knowledge of user experience principles and design thinking

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and ability to present design concepts
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques
• Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with SCSS and Angular/Ionic development
• Motion graphics and animation skills
• Photography and photo editing capabilities
• Experience with Canva and other accessible design tools
• Understanding of marketing psychology and conversion optimization
• Experience with brand strategy and positioning
