About The Job
We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer who plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of robust, secure, and high-performing software. This position is essential to maintaining the quality of our products and driving continuous improvement across the organization. By designing scalable test strategies and automation frameworks, the Senior QA Engineer directly impacts the efficiency of our development cycles and the reliability of our software.

As a key member of the QA team, you will lead the development and maintenance of end-to-end, integration, and UI tests, collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers to define testable requirements. Your contributions will enhance team-wide processes, strengthen the CI/CD pipeline, and establish quality standards, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the engineering group.

Job Goals

• Develop and implement scalable test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency in the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of robust end-to-end, integration, and UI tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage across applications.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to define and refine testable requirements aligned with business goals.
• Identify and analyze defects through root-cause analysis, driving preventive solutions and prioritizing quality improvements.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to support rapid and reliable software releases.
• Champion continuous improvement in QA practices, processes, and tools to foster innovation and excellence across the team.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in quality assurance and test automation, applying relevant advancements strategically to the role.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

• Proficiency in building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, with a focus on tools such as Cypress or Playwright, with at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions) to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, including end-to-end, integration, and UI testing, paired with skills in debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman or REST-assured) and backend service validation.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) as well as an interest or experience in performance or security testing.

Bonus Points For

• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers or building a QA culture.
• Exposure to BDD/TDD practices.
• Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
