Position Overview

  • Job Title: Engineer II - QA
  • Work Hours: Full-time (8 hours/day, Mon-Fri)
  • Location: Remote

Job Summary

  • As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and implementing systematic test plans. You will collaborate with software developers and project support to determine project scope and requirements. Success in this role will be demonstrated by providing quality work output, screening for errors, and refining usability throughout the software development and implementation process.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system specifications.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  • Attend daily standup & scrum meetings.
  • Execute test cases manually and analyze results.
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams.
  • Help troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing(regression & sanity testing).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications

  • B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
  • Experienced in project management and QA methodology.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to overlap 3-4 hours with MST working hours
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
