We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 -10 years of post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial management, accounting, compliance, and taxation, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience in the real estate industry. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and attention to detail to support business decision-making and ensure full statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Accounting:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial statements, reconciliations, and MIS reporting.

  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

  • Taxation & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.).

  • Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

  • Oversee cash flow planning, fund management, and working capital optimization.

  • Support financing activities, funding requirements, and relationship management with banks/NBFCs.

  • Real Estate Specific (Preferred):

  • Knowledge of RERA regulations, project accounting, and revenue recognition methods.

  • Experience in joint ventures, land acquisitions, and real estate financing models will be an added advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, corporate laws, taxation, and compliance.
  • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a finance team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Tally, etc.).

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 710 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in real estate sector preferred (candidates from infrastructure/ construction/ property development industries will also be considered).
