Global Finance & Accounts Controller
Steel Mont Group
Steel Mont Group is an industrial commodities trading group with 40+ legal entities across LATAM, Europe, Asia, and the US. We seek a seasoned controller to run group consolidation, reporting, and finance systems for a complex multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
Key responsibilities
• Monthly and quarterly group consolidation and reporting for 40+ entities
• Lead ERP and EPM standardization and rollouts
• Drive transfer pricing, intercompany billing, and documentation
• Run treasury and trade finance, including LCs and FX hedging
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and working capital KPIs
• Ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance and audit readiness
• Build SOPs and a high-performing finance team
Must-have experience
• 15+ years in multinational finance, 5+ in group controller or head of consolidation
• Proven consolidation for 30+ entities across regions
• Commodities trading or adjacent sector
• Hands-on LCs, trade finance, FX hedging, and INCOTERMS
• Led at least one ERP implementation and one consolidation tool rollout
• Business fluency in English and at least one of Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, or Ukrainian
Tools exposure
SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365, NetSuite. OneStream, HFM, Tagetik. Power BI or Tableau.
Credentials
CA or CPA. MBA or PGDM preferred. IFRS and treasury certifications are a plus.
