Role Description

This is a full-time remote role as an ETL & BI Tester – Data Warehousing. The Tester will be responsible for executing test plans, performing software testing, ensuring quality assurance, and validating data in line with defined requirements. Daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining test cases, analyzing data accuracy, identifying and resolving defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure best practices in data warehousing are implemented effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Test Execution and developing comprehensive Test Cases
  • Strong Analytical Skills to identify, evaluate, and troubleshoot data trends and defects
  • Experience with Software Testing methodologies and Quality Assurance practices
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and Business Intelligence tools
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and efficiently collaborate with teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience in data warehousing testing and knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases is advantageous

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
  • Knowledge of Python for basic automation (optional).
  • Exposure to data quality tools (Informatica DQ, Talend DQ).
  • Understanding of DevOps pipelines, Git, CI/CD (nice to have).
