Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in New Delhi for a CCTV & Networking Project Engineer. Responsibilities include designing, installing, and maintaining CCTV and networking systems. The role also involves project management, project planning, and ensuring that both electrical and communication systems are functioning optimally. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, while adhering to company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design and oversee installation of CCTV surveillance systems (IP/Analog, DVR/NVR, VMS, storage solutions).


• Plan and configure LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and network security protocols.


• Handle structured cabling (CAT6, Fiber optics) including layout design and termination.


• Maintain and optimize network performance, bandwidth allocation, and CCTV uptime.


• Provide preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV, networking, and IT systems.


• Configure remote monitoring solutions (mobile, cloud, and server-based).


• Support IT infrastructure including routers, switches, servers, and Wi-Fi access points.


• Maintain detailed documentation of network topology, CCTV installations, and service records.


• Coordinate with vendors and clients for new installations and technical support.


• Stay updated with latest advancements in surveillance and IT networking technologies.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Project Engineering, Project Management, and Project Planning
  • Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with clients
  • Technical knowledge of CCTV, networking systems, and related technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or related field
  • Previous experience in similar roles in the technology or security systems industry is a plus

Preferred Experience:


• 2–5 years of relevant experience in CCTV/Networking/IT roles.


• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Hikvision/Dahua certifications will be an advantage.
