A
Public Relations Manager
is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the public image and reputation of an organization. The role involves managing communication between the organization and the public, media, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective public relations strategies and campaigns
  • Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, and press conferences
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders
  • Oversee corporate communications, brand messaging, and public statements
  • Handle crisis communication and reputation management when required
  • Coordinate with marketing, digital, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public perception and campaign impact
  • Represent the organization at public events, exhibitions, and industry forums

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent media handling and interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
  • Knowledge of branding, communications, and public relations tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

Experience:

  • Proven experience in public relations, media management, or corporate communications
  • Experience in crisis management and brand positioning is an advantage
